A & W Wholesale constantly strives to provide our customers with the best equipment and products at the most competitive price, while maintaining a consistently higher level of customer service than any of our competitors. This is accomplished by providing product and equipment quality and customer service that is second to none, ensuring overall benefits and long term savings for our customers.

About A & W

A & W Wholesale can proudly look back on 53 years in Fairbanks. Started in 1949 by a local Pharmacist to supply three local drug stores and stores in the native villages, it has changed dramatically over the years to meet the needs of the people of Alaska and the Interior.

It all began in a small wooden building located on second avenue in downtown Fairbanks. The first items to be locally warehoused were candy, tobacco products, and toiletries. Now as a full line Wholesaler/Distributor we carry a complete line of janitorial, restaurant, and concession supplies as well as disposable paper and Styrofoam products for the food service industry. We can also service your commercial laundry and warewashing requirements.

Ordering & RFQ's

Orders or product information can be received by phone or fax or by contacting your sales representative. A & W also accepts all RFQ's and invitations to bid. For EDI capable customers please forward your requests to mailbox "fbf0182" or email us at fbf0182@softshare.com.

Shipping/Holding

Free surrounding area delivery services are available on any order over $50 dollars. Fairbanks area deliveries are done Monday through Friday in the afternoon and North Pole & Eielson deliveries are available on Wednesday mornings. Orders for same day delivery must be placed by 11:00 AM. North Pole orders need to be placed by 5:00 PM Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. All orders can be pulled and held for pick up or delivery. Reserved orders can be held for up to a week unless other arrangements have been made. For customers outside the Fairbanks North Star Borough, A & W provides a mail service or will ship via a carrier of your choice. Mail orders need to be phoned in by 5:00 PM the previous day to ensure a Tuesday or Friday morning parcel pickup. Please phone any credit card information.

Terms and Conditions

Due to constant changes, prices have been omitted from this online catalog. We welcome the opportunity to quote current prices for your requirements. Current price lists are available upon request. Please ask your sales representative, contact our Customer Service Counter or email us at customerservice@awwholesale.com.

Approved Credit Terms are Net 30 Days unless otherwise agreed upon. Delivery Terms are FOB Fairbanks unless otherwise noted. Unless specific shipping instructions are given, we will use our best judgement to determine the most satisfactory and least expensive routing.

A 50% deposit will be required for all special order items unless prior arrangements are made with our Credit Department. No salesperson has the authority to change this requirement.

Cancellations & Returns

Orders for items of special design or special orders for items not normally carried in stock cannot be cancelled without first securing written permission from our office. We in turn must receive permission from the manufacturer.

If the reason for returning merchandise is our fault or that of the manufacturer, we will cheerfully and promptly, without expense to the customer, rectify the error. If the cause lies with the customer, we will do everything possible to minimize the expense or loss. However, in such cases we reserve the right to make reasonable charges for restocking and handling. All goods returned must be in original and saleable condition.

Warranties

The goods we sell have been manufactured by others and may be warranted for limited periods of time by them against defects in workmanship. All misuse of products is excluded from warranties. In all instances, seller makes no warranty of any kind whatsoever, expressed or implied, unless expressly set forth in writing. No agent, employee or representative of the seller has any authority to bind the seller to any affirmation, representation, or warranty concerning goods that we sell beyond those specifically included in writing. Statistical information contained in this catalog is derived from tables compiled by the manufacturers and is reprinted by us for your convenience. We do not assume consequential or incidental damages for breach of contract or nonperformance due to fire, strike, natural disasters or other causes beyond our control.

We are committed to providing you with appropriate Safety and health information related to the products purchased from us. This information is contained in Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) which conform to the requirements of the occupational Safety & Health Administration's Hazard Communication Standard.
